Baby

Baby weighs 500-550 grams. Baby’s wrinkled skin is semi-transparent and translucent blood vessels give his or her body a reddish skin tone. Development of the nerves makes baby’s movements more and more coordinated. Baby opens and closes his or her eyelids. Growth has slightly slowed down. He or she likes to suck his toes and fingers. Baby’s sense of taste is developing – it makes a difference in various flavors. As there is enough space for moving around, he or she uses the opportunity actively.

You

You will start to feel Braxton-Hicks contractions (also prodromal labour or practice contractions). The uterus becomes hard and rounded for a minute or few. As pregnancy progresses, you feel them more clearly. As a rule, such contractions do are not painful. They occur mor often after sexual intercourse, a workout or a fast walking. The contractions are generally “training” for a childbirth. Consult with your doctor if you experience over four contractions per hour, they become more intense or painful, or if they are accompanied by vaginal fluid excretion.

You may have problems with sleep and dreams are very life like.

Ideas

  • Make yourself presents – buy something nice.
  • Rest! This is a last chance for a long period of time.
  • Do you still eat enough fruits and vegetables?
